FINALE FROM SYMPHONY NO. 3
with optional organ
Description
Camille Saint-Saëns, wrote his Third Symphony, while at the peak of his artistic abilities. During the same period he also wrote his Third Violin Concerto, the Danse Macabre and his world famous Carnival of Animals. This work bears the subtitle Organ Symphony because Saint-Saëns used the church organ as an orchestral instrument but not always with a solo role. In this arrangement the role of the organ is taken over by the brass players of the orchestra.
