LOCH LOMOND

"Loch Lomond" is a famous place in Scotland for many reasons, but one of them certainly has to do with a song, a poignant hymn of loss and sorrow known throughout the world. This song seems to have meaning for people who have never been to "Loch Lomond" but find that the sentiment or melody inspires them to go there. Some call it "The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond", others just "The Banks of Loch Lomond", while just "Loch Lomond" is also common.
