Description
Yusuf Katazimba is a 7-year-old boy from Uganda who slept and lived on the street. John Susi Mpandi took care of him and provided him with shelter, food and (music) education. Composer Ivo Kouwenhoven dedicated this work to Yusuf. Because the name Yusuf is derived from Youssef, which is the Arabic variant of Joseph, he threw an Arabic musical sauce over it. The total proceeds of this composition will benefit the education of Yusuf.
