Description
The title
We are all familiar with the etymological meaning of the word "alphabet". We also know that, in past and present-day usage, the letters that make it up have often been used in contexts that have nothing to do with their meaning in the original language. This is the case, for instance, in the fields of science, medicine, product classification, astronomy, etc. "Alphabetical Suite"(vol.1) draws inspiration from this widely accepted practice. Based on the letters Alpha, Beta and Gamma, it uses a language that combines different musical elements to create a bridge between the "modes" of ancient Greek music and twentieth-century musical language.
