Massimo Bertaccini

Bertaccini Massimo, born in Cusercoli (Forlì) in 1959 where he currently resides, began studying music at eight years of age with his hometown wind band. He studied trumpet at the Conservatory of Music "G. Rossini "in Pesaro, graduating in 1977. He has participated in wind band conducting courses under the guidance of Daniele Carnevali, Luigi Giacobini “Father Callisto,” and Hans Obkircher. From 1979-81, he performed in Giovanni Fenati’s “American Style” Orchestra. Since 1980, he has taught musical education at the “Istituto Comprensivo” in Civitella di Romagna. Since 1985, he has conducted the Civic Wind Band “Cesare Roveroni” in Santa Sofia and, since 1999, he has conducted the Wind Band “A. Albertini” in Galeata. He conducted the Meldola Jazz Band from 1995 to 2000. He works as a composer and arranger for several orchestras and wind bands.
