SERENATA
for Euphonium and band
Description
Franz Schubert's (1797-1828) celebrated Serenade is in actual fact a Lied belonging to the Schwanengesang (Swan Song), a collection that includes his final 14 Lieder. Considered a genius for his original melodic creativeness, Schubert is ranked as one of the greats of Romanticism. The present arrangement by Flavio Vicentini is a rhythmic version of the piece and employs the percussion section.
