Enrico Tiso
Born in Senago (Milan) in 1959, he graduated in flute performance from the “Giuseppe Nicolini” Conservatory of Piacenza under the guidance of Rocco Abate. He furthered his studies in composition, conducting, and band instrumentation, attending masterclasses and courses led by prominent conductors in the band world.
He has many years of experience teaching flute in lower secondary schools with a music program and in various music schools. He has collaborated with ANBIMA Lombardia as a flute instructor, taking part in masterclasses and summer music workshops.
He performs regularly with wind and chamber ensembles. His compositions focus mainly on works for concert band, educational music, and pieces for youth ensembles. Several of his works have received awards in national and international competitions.
Since 2011, he has been the conductor of the “Santa Cecilia - 1900” APS Wind Band of Paderno Dugnano.
