Davide Donazzolo

Davide Donazzolo was born in Belluno in 1978. He began his musical studies at a very young age and earned his diploma in classical accordion in February 2007 under M° Ivano Paterno at the “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto. He later obtained a diploma in band instrumentation in 2013, and a second-level academic degree in the same field in 2016, both under M° Daniele Carnevali at the “F.A. Bonporti” Conservatory in Trento.
He has been a member of the Cortina d’Ampezzo Music Corps for 30 years and has conducted its Young Band since 2016. He was conductor of the Auronzo di Cadore Music Corps and, since 2021, has directed the San Cassiano Wind Band in Alta Badia (BZ). Since 2023, he has also been the conductor of the Andalo Plateau Wind Band (TN).
In 2014, he won 2nd prize at the National Composition Competition for Band in Mugnano (PG), and in 2025, he was awarded 1st prize at the 8th International March Composition Competition “Città di Allumiere”.
He teaches accordion, percussion, harmony, and composition in various schools in the province of Belluno.
His works have been published by Italian and European music publishers.
