FOUR JUNIOR SKETCHES

This work, based upon four popular themes, does not present any particular technical-executive difficulty. It features simple melodies and is particularly suitable for youth bands. Different instruments interpret the theme in each of the four parts. This careful choice satisfies in a “healthy way” the protagonism of the players, while at the same time it emphasis the worth and importance of each instrument within the context of making music together. Due to the flexible instrumentation, groups with a limited number of players can execute the work satisfactorily. Bands are however advised to allocate parts carefully and utilise the right options to create a good sound effect.
