This cheerful march is perfect for both parade and concert settings. In addition, the following performance notes will show how it can easily serve for lesson-concerts in schools or for group performances during wind band meetings. In the Trio, the players are requested to sing a simple and tuneful melody, an effect that can be even more striking if the audience collaborates, too. The theme of the Trio comes back in the Grandioso, this time performed by the players on their instruments, while the audience can be invited to start to sing again, perhaps clapping the hands in time, as well.
