DEMOLIRER POLKA

This polka is a tribute to the demolition team who, on the orders of Emperor Franz Joseph, demolished the ancient ramparts of Vienna to expand the city limits. These men, with blows of pickaxes, tore down forever the medieval walls that divided the city center from its suburbs.
