It is a traditional American Christmas song composed in 1949 by Robert Alex Anderson. One of the first performances of the piece was by Bing Crosby. In Italy, it was reinterpreted by Mina in 2010 and used as part of the soundtrack for the film *"La banda dei Babbi Natale"*, featuring the actors Aldo, Giovanni, and Giacomo.
