Description
With this composition, the author describes the emotional phases of the war between the Achaeans and the Trojans. The legendary and best-known symbol is surely the horse that was built by the Achaeans to enter through deception the city of Troy and destroy it.

Throughout the piece, a persistent four-note motive will lead to the two main themes: one describes the heroic deeds and the construction of the horse, the other is the theme of Helen. The first part of the composition is very energetic with color contrasts and thematic changes. The second part portrays Helen’s pain as she feels guilty for having caused such a dreadful war. The third part begins with a description of the battle and concludes with the reprise of the initial themes.

The Trojan horse is a story, or perhaps a legend, that has fascinated thousands of generations and therefore deserves to be told.
