CONCERTINO PER TROMBA
Description
After those for Sax and Trombone (or Euphonium) Pusceddu wrote the Concertino for Trumpet; as for the previous ones, this too is a medium difficulty job for the band, while the solo part has been designed so that it can be tackled by a good instrumentalist.
The piece is divided into the classic 3 movements (Allegro - Andante - Allegro): in the first the ringing characteristic of the trumpet is highlighted, in the second the expressiveness while in the third we find a more virtuosic writing.
In the final part a cadence has been inserted in which all the themes present in the composition are re-proposed, in order of appearance.
The work is dedicated to the trumpeter Roberto Sollai, friend and collaborator of the author.
